Ingredients of ultrafiltration solution: water, water-soluble cosolvents, low molecular weight resins, and soluble impurities.
Ultrafiltration can be used for washing away excess coating adhered to the surface of workpieces.
It is very important for the ultrafiltration device to have a sufficiently high liquid output to ensure the production of sufficient ultrafiltrate to meet the needs of the water washing process. Generally, the amount of ultrafiltrate used should be 1.2L/m2 (the area of the coating line passing through the workpiece). When the output of ultrafiltration solution is less than 70% of the design value, the ultrafiltration equipment should be cleaned.
The advantages include high efficiency, relatively low energy consumption compared to other membrane processes, and the ability to handle high flow rates. However, the membrane's susceptibility to fouling necessitates regular maintenance. The tank solution is pressurized and filtered, and the filtrate obtained is used as washing water to recover the floating paint on the surface of the product;
When there are many impurities in the tank solution, the excess impurity ion concentration can be removed by discarding the filtrate.
