The placement of blades in the salt spray box: Each blade is placed with its edge facing upwards at a 150-200 angle to the vertical plane, with a blade spacing of 2 cm;
Conduct a 168 hour salt spray test according to GB/T1771-1991;
Clean the blade and floating rust on the blade after salt spray test with a wool brush dipped in 5% acetic acid solution, rinse thoroughly with clean water, and finally rinse with deionized water and quickly dry with a hair dryer. Immediately observe the corrosion and foaming morphology of the blade under a 50x microscope and record it.
Result evaluation
Evaluate based on the corrosion and bubble size at the blade edge. Generally, six blades are made in parallel, and the arithmetic mean of the results is taken.
This simple method provides a crucial metric for comparing the corrosion resistance of different blade materials or coatings.
